Deaglan O Mochain is a filmmaker and Irish language activist based in Derry. He was an IRA prisoner between 1989-97, and completed a PhD on prison resistance strategies on his release.
Drawing on first hand experience, Deaglán Ó Mocháin traces
the educational development and political consciousnessraising undergone by republicans imprisoned during the period
of armed conflict in the north of Ireland from the 1960s-1990s.
